Instant turf

Directly after installation, sod should be watered until the first inch is very wet and the soil below is damp 3-4 inches deep. Turf should then be watered once daily for a slow soak (aprox. 30 min) preferably in low heat and wind. If temperatures or wind are high for more than half a day additional water may be needed. Check the moisture level with a tool for a depth of 3-4 inches. For slopes or slow draining areas, water until it stops soaking in, wait 30-60 minutes than water again for the same amount. After the roots have taken hold and you can no longer pull a corner up, you can cut back watering to once a week (an accumulative of 1 inch of water) unless extended drought or wind occur.
